New Back Pain at Night

PT and injections are temporary relief. That's what I consider surgery

I have L5 and S1. Herniated disc. I feel like electrical waves coming from hip and also too much pain and numbness on my hips and legs

I can't lay on my left side due to bersitis in left hip,so,I like laying on right side but the pull of my left leg makes the pain in left hip worse,but,my hubby and I took a softer pillow and mad a makeshift bolster pillow out of it.Wrapped it with ACE bandages and put a case over it I lay on my back and he puts it under the bend if my legs.It has been wonderful.I have degenerative disc disease of lumbar spine. I saw a well know back Dr about my hip about 6 weeks ago.His words were," If your lower back wasn't so bad,you would be having this problem." Office manner leaves a few things to be desired,but,he's good. His remark caught me off guard,so,I don't ask what he meant. Try the pillow thing and see if it helps.I can't believe the difference.

i have severe back issues. 6 hernited disc in lower back, ball of scar tissue at t9, cant sleep without seraquel. lack of sleep causes so many more issues. see a psychiatrist.
