Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with daily chronic migraines in December of 2020. This diagnosis came following an MRI that revealed dots in the white matter of brain. Since then, I’ve been through a lot. Currently, I get botox injections every 3 months and do a monthly aimovig shot. My new neurologist is switching me to avjoy shortly but honestly, I’m not sure if I even have migraine. They feel like tension headaches and I have neck/shoulder pain. I never have symptoms that are usually associated with migraine like sensitivity to light and sound, intense pain, etc. Any advice or opinions?
