There are programs for free service dogs in the us but they are a tad tricky. Takes lots of time to find the right one, but it’s worth the tine.

Service dogs are technically free in the US. You can use any breed of dog, and even train them yourself. There is no legal registration for service dogs in the US and people unfortunately knowingly/unknowingly get scammed by registration companies to get “paperwork” or “licensing”. You may want to look up some charities or programs that there may be if you are looking for an already trained service dog. However, you will have to do some training specialized to you at some point.
