Intense urge to click my ankle bones together

Hi all! I have a relatively new compulsion that is driving me insane and hurts a bit. Last week I started having intense urges to forcefully click my inner ankle bones together 4 consecutive times (first with my left foot moving and clicking into my right, then right into left). If I mess up (lose my balance or someone interrupts me) I have to start the whole process over. And the past couple of days I find myself stuck in loops of the compulsion clicking my ankles 30+ times before I can move on. My ankles are very red and irritated and I’m getting increasingly frustrated with myself. A lot of my compulsions surround counting repetitively but don’t typically cause physical harm (other than my skin picking). Has anyone had anything similar?
