Autism: Severe burnout, need rest and quiet and thoughts to be only whispers ADHD: *provides inability to focus on calm things and spams consciousness with loud music and loud thoughts occurring at the same time [adhd also makes it so I hear both lines of thought clearly]* Sensory processing dysfunction: You can’t see or hear for crap today, so everything needs to be brighter and louder. You can’t sense temperature correctly so your body extra sucks at temp regulation. Heater on, heater off, fan on, fan off… Try both of them on! *body is confused* (/ food in this parentheses section, end parenthesis is on its own line to skip easily Interoception: Oh crap, you’re hella dehydrated, chug water. No, that was too much. You’re also very, very hungry, but nothing sounds good. Try snacks. Sensory issues: Dissociate so you can tolerate the feeling of eating. Interoception: WAIT, STOP, TOO MUCH, STOMACH HURTING ) Not to mention my intense anxiety making everything mental and physical numb and feel excruciating at the same time. 😑

      I have the same problems, all of these! I cannot handle intense heat because I won't be able to walk because my joints will get too loose and I can't be in the cold for too long because then I will look like a corpse but still be a feel fine, and people would think I'm weird for a temperature like a corpse but not being one.
