How do you confront an unprofessional provider? A large conglomerate mental health company took over the small practice I’ve been at for over 10 years. A very young PA gave me 5 minutes of his time by phone today to make up for a week delay in my medications due to a calling error. He said “don’t stress” “Oh yeah by brother in laws wife had a brain injury I totally get it” “Here’s my cell but don’t text me for refills or anything” “But everything else is OK, right?” Several times when I tried to tell him how I was doing. What is going on with these companies?

      Totally stinks when they do not listen. Being in the industry I can say sometimes they are short staffed and not always supported in their role; but is no exception. How are you and how is your brother-in-law and his wife? I’ve had a mTBI so I know how challenging that can be.
