So I haven’t been fully diagnosed with endometriosis but I feel like I have it. Cramping, burning, miscarriage. I’m scared to try again to conceive. What steps do I take to know I have this condition? What helps you when you are having tough days or cramping and pain?

@Jaylynnsmith Of course! That’s so traumatic I’m so sorry you had to go through that. Anyone would be having a tough time after something like that. Hope you feel better, and hopefully they can help you at your next appointment. Good luck!

The only way you can truly find out if you have it is through exploratory laparoscopic surgery. They can do imaging but it’s really a waste. I have stage 3 and nothing showed up on CT or ultrasound. Definitely advocate for yourself to your obgyn. It’s a very misdiagnosed condition. I had to see at least 5 doctors before I could get someone to listen. It’s not normal for your periods to be holding you back from doing normal things like going to work, leaving the house etc (and don’t let your doctors tell you that’s normal because they will). If you are in that much pain every month it’s worth the surgery. I had a cyst that had to be removed which was causing most of the pain so maybe you have something like that too. Heating pad helps a lot! They have portable ones on Amazon that you can wear to work etc. There are a lot of Facebook groups with thousands of women who are very helpful as well!

@Coffeeluv thank you so much for your reply! I also think I have like ptsd from my miscarriage and these cramps have really been messing with me not only physically but emotionally. Thank you for your response!! I have an annual exam coming up and I was to mention getting the surgery
