Anyone have trouble waiting in public? I’ve been diagnosed ADHD for 10 year and take Adderall. Everything feels so slow in public—and I’m often holding myself back in lines at the store, in traffic, and at the café frustrated at waiting more than others around me. Hope I’m not the only one.
I actually don't mind waiting in traffic but waiting for everything else is the worst. Waiting in line at a store, or to see a doctor, or waiting on a package to be delivered or for a certain date/event. I never connected this to ADHD but it makes sense.
Waiting in traffic can be okay for the most part, but otherwise it can just feel a lot slower. It can also make me feel anxious or jittery because I just want things to go at my fast pace
