I try to mix it up with writing things out. Even if its Journaling, attempting at a short story, etc. It kind of helps break things up and try to be a bit creative.
If your not a writer maybe find another outlet such as coloring in adult coloring books or sketching how you feel and talk to someone you trust about what you drew or why you used the colors you did and how it made you feel ❤️
