I had intramuscular injections. Two shots one in each arm. They told me not to eat or drink anything a few hours before my appointment. They gave me oral zofran which melts under your tongue, oral promethazine and also put anti nausea medication in the shot with the ketamine. Not sure what helps you feel less nauseous but they also had ginger chews for me. Definitely speak with your doctor regarding these concerns during your consultation. I always brought headphones so I could listen to a relaxing playlist and brought a blanket to help me be comfortable. Try to do/bring whatever helps with your nausea and anxious feeling.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time. Get some anti-nausea meds to help you so you don't have to face that fear. Emetrol is an over-the-counter liquid medicine, and you can always ask your doctor about being prescribed Zofran.
