I feel so alone. I feel like no one actually cares about me. Like what I can give them is what they care about… I was in the ER last weekend and my friend didn’t even ask me what happened or if I am okay. People who barely know me did.. Is it that once people get to know me, they stop caring? Am I just that worthless and terrible of a person?

Hi, maybe something happened with the boyfriend that's why he didn't contact you or didn't ask? Maybe he didn't know or forgot? I'm sure he didn't consciously decide to ignore it, after all, he's your friend and he cares about your well-being. Don't blame yourself, there may be more to it. I would suggest that you speak to him and ask him why he wasn't interested in your well-being, maybe you'll get an answer that will satisfy you.
