my depression is kicking my butt. my urges to do crazy things are 10 out of 10. how do I stay strong

I feel you. I know what it's like to want to do crazy sh*t in response to depression, but trust me, you don't want to do those things in the long run.

Depending on how intense my urges are getting I try to talk myself through them and what would actually realistically happen if I followed through. If I'm in a really bad place I cant always be realistic though so at that point it may not help much.

Do you take any medicine? Sometimes mine can make me feel manic, if you donāt take meds Iād still talk to someone about it and have someone there to try to convince you to at least hold off on certain ideas. I always text my boyfriend when I want to cut my hair or get a tattoo etc
