Is recovery possible? How do I face feeling hopeless?

You are not alone in feeling hopeless. It can be debilitating. Meditation has been super instrumental in my life, so I highly suggest it! Finding purpose in your struggles is vital—read Man’s Search For Meaning by Viktor Frankl.

YouTube has a headspace meditation called self love where you imagine yourself being happy. Hopelessness is bad for your body. I use “even though” statements to affirm my present suffering but also practice perspective. Try EFT (tapping) on YouTube as well to help shift your mindset. Hugs ❤️

I think recovery is possible if you believe in it and see your life vision and purpose and focus on your life goal more than your illness. My illness is moderate and I have huge inner strength. You learn to develop inner strength and have power within you and you can’t let your illness have power over you because in reality you are not defined by your illness.
