man I've been off this app for a minute but insomnia came back ten fold, I told my boss and he was like "it's ok you're good thanks for letting me know". I struggle with meds that don't work and then I don't even have time to pick them up because they had me working every day of the week for 8 hours from 10-6 and I couldn't wake up before 10. Then I miss an early morning shift cause I fell asleep at 6am on accident. 3 weeks after that he decides to fire me without reason (today. well technically yesterday haha). So now I'm jobless again, with depression reportedly KICKING me down while insomnia holds my arms behind my back. cool

      Dam that sucks yea depression & insomnia are daily struggles. Especially when dealing with day time stuff "work, school, anything" you either have the energy to focus and complete tasks or not that's unfortunate it's gotten that bad it's effected your work. Am sorry to hear that. Sometimes certain medications help you stay asleep instead of get to sleep like for example melatonin helps me stay asleep but not get to the point of feeling like I can possibly sleep even when I want to I can lay there with my eyes closed for many hours and still nothing but when my body decides to crash and I have it in my system then I oversleep you might want to speak to your position about fast short acting sedative to help you get to sleep and not leave you groggy in the morning not sure what if you've tried so far but just someone has suggestions I've been struggling with insomnia on my entire life so I get it if you need someone to speak to you I'm here
