Try the gray rocking technique. It seems to be the number one way to break free from narcissists.

Start building your support system up, preferably people that he doesn't know, let them know what's going on. You got this, I believe in you ❤️❤️

@its_V thank you so much yes i have a safety plan in place its just custody stuff i have to look into to go back home across state lines

Start to build up your network and make your plans well ahead of time without letting them know. (Place to stay, who you can call, what you will take with you, how to handle and/or block their attempt for contact, etc). It will make when you *do* leave much easier (though of course it's never easy at all).

@iconically_ill i agree i have a safety plan in motion with the program here on base! Just have to figure out if i can cross state lines with our daughter and unborn child

@kristyll in that case, start compiling evidence if possible! You might need it later in court if it goes that direction.

Plan a solo trip to "visit" family & funny go back. That's what I did 😬 I know it's a tough situation but the truth is choosing yourself will give you the strength to leave.

@mysticalmaelstrom my friend was just talking about this and she has offered us a plane ticket and a place to stay! Problem is figuring out custody with my 4 month old and i am pregnant now and if he will let us leave. He is currently in the military and his sergeants are aware of the situation and i have made a domestic violence report with my obgyn on post etc
