My best friend is my fp. She knows about my bpd and has been very kind in doing her own research and helping me within her own limits and boundaries, but I’ve never told her she is my fp. I’m afraid it will scare her off but I’m also afraid she suspects/already knows? I feel like I’m at a crossroads talking about it.. should I just leave things as they are?

It sounds like you have a strong relationship, so if you feel like telling her would benefit you, I’d say go for it!

Id say leave it be but be conscious that you know theyre youre fp. Acknowledge that they can only help within their means, even if it isnt what you need 100%. They still care about you

leave things as they are!! it might spook them and there’s not really something they could say in response
