I’m in the US and get free healthcare through my local hospital’s financial assistance program! It’s a lifesaver, I can’t even comprehend how expensive all my treatments would be without it
As much as it generally sucks being poor in America, I qualify for Medicaid and so I don’t have to worry about bills. Of course there’s only certain doctors, places and prescriptions that it covers; but that’s like any insurance. So it’s pretty good.
