Even through I am on depression medication why do I still have days where I just don't want to do anything. I also feel nobody cares if I am here or not.
While medication works, it's recommended to do therapy alongside it in order to pick up coping skills and process our emotions. I also understand that there are just days where everything can go wrong.
I think doing therapy will help with that as well. Medication kind of covers some of the pain but therapy really targets why the pain is there and helps you heal underneath the help of that medication. I still have those days too though and sometimes no matter what medication or how many therapy sessions you have, the stress of life will get to you and will overpower it all. Just remind yourself youâve felt better before and youâre going to feel that way again. Take it easy and take care of yourself!
I had a lot of things change in my life in the last 3 years. The first one was and ex boyfriend came back into my life. Then we got married a year later. Then my dad died of covid. Then in March my husband asked for a divorce.
