Applied for disability for BPD, got denied. I'm now talking to a new & local lawyer to appeal. Does anyone else get just extremely anxious talking to people about this condition? I feel like such a fraud for getting disability for a mental condition.

Best of luck. A lawyer should help. And no, you are not alone. Imposter Syndrome is a thing, and if you're physically able, then "I should be able to work" is a toxic thought. I'm proud of you for getting help.

@ChronicPainWarrior_ It really is. It's just everytime I have to talk to someone about my condition, it's like I freeze up and I sound like I don't. I have all those symptoms though.

@EmoAngel99 I think I did SSI and they denied me. I just did the forms online myself. But I'm trying again with a new lawyer. So hopefully it goes through this time.
