    I don't think it's the food itself, it's when you don't shift your diet to accommodate it and then your nutrients get out of wack. I recently got diagnosed with celiacs and now that I've gone gluten free, I have noticed a small improvement in my mindset. and in going vegan and dairy free, make sure you're getting your complimentary proteins! without those you'll be selling yourself short on essential amino acids and that'll definitely effect your mental health.
