I can feel startled, and am actually pretty easily startled, but I'm never left with a residual feeling of being unsettled.
Not only do horror movies not phase me, but I was stuck at a guy's apartment (there was a snowstorm) and realized if I don't play this right he may kill me (based on the extent of his internalized homophobia and that we met on Grindr). I knew I could die and filed a police report informing them that if my or any other gay men's bodies show up to look at him, but my heart rate never accelerated, I never sweat, and even though I picked my words and actions carefully, I didn't really have any emotional reactions. Even as a child I wasn't afraid of what other kids my age were.

Does anyone else not really feel fear?
