I just found out last week that I have a septal infarction. I never had an abnormal ekg before and all of a sudden the day after my surgery, I do. and the next I did. and the day they discharged me from the hospital, I did. no one said anything to me or my primary doctor. luckily, I read all my reports and notes because I have learned that most doctors ignore incidentals on the reports. if it has nothing to do with what they are looking for they don't bother with it. so I do it myself. as soon as I saw that I called my primary and sent her a copy of the reports. my doctor ordered a 24 hour monitor, an echo, and a stress test. it's been over a week now and I still haven't heard from anybody! this is insane, we're dealing with my heart and they just lolligag around with it. I swear the VA is trying to kill me.
Those bastards 😥 they do NOT take care of veterans the way they are supposed to. I'm so sorry. It's scary to have great issues. I had a mild heart attack in 2015 and have been dealing with palpitations, irregular heart beats and angina since. Hang in there! You are doing great bring so proactive. I hope the outcome is good
