I accidentally overdosed on 200mg Wellbutrin SR. I am prescribed 2 200mg doses a day. I took one at 6:00am this morning, and another at 3:30pm. I then accidentally took another at 4:30pm. It is now 5:30pm. Poison control center said I should go to the ER but I really don’t have the money for that. Has anybody done this? Do you think I’ll be alright or should I go anyways?
From my experience, don’t worry about the bill and just go, I was prescribed that medication but it was terrible. If you’re not feeling as you should, I’d definitely check your BP and see where you’re at
The ER cannot make you pay the bill right then and there. By law they can’t make you. You should probably go just incase there is some negative side effects that could hurt you.
Go to the ER, just don't give them your social security # (you legally don't have to) just say you don't know your social off the top of your head, if you don't wanna be "that person"
Then when you get the bill, you don't have to pay it,, the never got your social security so it won't go to a collection🙏🏼 I hope that helps

Yikes, that does make sense. Now I feel a little bad being like "Nah skip the ER." Cause like, now I'm worried about them, maybe they should still go as a checkup or something
If poison control says to go to the ER you really should!!! I accidentally took two doses of this once and it made me feel awful. At the very least monitor your heart rate and if it goes up significantly more than your norm please seek help (this is the advice poison control gave me)
