I had Covid in May 2021. I was ready to get the 2nd Covid shot when I realized i could not taste or smell. I tested positive for the cove. I never had any other symptoms. Tested negative a week later then got 2nd shot. Taste took many months to sort of come back, but many things such as coffee still don’t taste right; sort of like a plastic smell and taste. Many different things don’t have a true smell, and sometimes the air just doesn’t smell right. It’s now been about 18 months since. Some days are better than others.
