@CoffeeAndDogs I have recently started noticing that I have similar speech and texting difficulties, wrong or missing words

Brain fog is the worst. Sometimes I sit at my computer not recognizing the writing on it, no idea what I am supposed to do, and time passes without realizing it. I was off sick for 4 months with it. It’s a scary thing.

These are a couple styles that have worked best for me. Copper Compression Socks for Men & Women Circulation- Arch Ankle Support for Athletic Running Medical Cycling https://a.co/g28xGQH and Copper Compression Socks for Men & Women Circulation- Arch Ankle Support for Athletic Running Medical Cycling https://a.co/faZV70n and Compression Running Ankle Socks for Men and Women (6 Pairs), Quarter Athletic Socks for Running, Cycling, Golf, Work https://a.co/1N3OLEI All 3 of these are very reasonable and i find advantages to each and vary usage depending on my activity and my hydration.
@55isMe perfect! That’s very helpful 🥰

I think Imitrex had the major role in my overcoming that stuff. Anazing wgat they have found is most likely from migraines. Also Redlin might have helped too. I only used it for 2 months, but did have better days following. Also fir ne, Buspar helped as it helped control my tremors and so abke to use my hands more, be less nauseous, etc.
@55isMe thank you for the information!
@Hockeyfan you are welcome. Also, might be worth a shot, you might want to try compression socks for your legs. Why? Because Ive had a light case of restless legs syndrome (it was worse last year, But luckily it was only a month or 2). Anyway, wearing compression knee-highs help me enough to get and stay asleep. Because i wear them to bed, i wear a size larger than normal. So it might only be 7 to 15 compression, but it still works.

Speech is a big one for me. Losing my train of thought mid-sentence. Forgetting words or saying the wrong word. I struggle with time management, focus, short term memory, and retaining information. I also developed sensory issues and mental health issues which can cause my brain to be overwhelmed and unable to function.

@CoffeeAndDogs yes it's the west when you're trying to explain something and every thought disappears

@CoffeeAndDogs that sounds similar to what I’ve been experiencing. My Dr tested me for MS since these symptoms are so similar. My focus is terrible. Have you found anything to help?
@Hockeyfan It is always good to rule out autoimmune diseases, hormonal imbalances (like hypo and hyper thyroidism), and vitamin deficiencies. Fibromyalgia has a strong co-morbidity of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome so some people experience fatigue worse than others. There are not a lot of great treatment options but some things I do suggest is tracking your nutrient intake to see what you may be lacking, tracking electrolytes and supplementing as necessary, if you have any sleep related issues try to treat them, amino acid supplements, and antioxidant supplements. I cannot even function without caffeine. As a very last resort you can try meds if they're willing. Stimulants are usually a very last resort due to dependency issues. But some people find SSRI or NDRI antidepressants to help. Let me know if you'd like any further details on anything. Also, make sure your treating physician is aware that 2 brain and spine MRIs are needed for a definitive MS diagnosis. Even so, my fatigue is far more debilitating than my pain. And I have significant pain as well. I was still pushing through college and work with pain. I have learned ways of managing my pain as much as one can, but fatigue is the main reason I can no longer hold down employment and no longer drive. I haven't done either in nearly 6 years now (Fibro and CFS dx nearly 11 years ago) and I'm only 32.
