i’ve become very self-conscious of my weight in the last year. i used to look like everyone around me and now i’m just so much bigger than my friends; i know there’s internalized fatphobia for that but just because i recognize it doesn’t mean i can suddenly be ok with it. i know i’m in college and my body is different than other people, but i can’t go shopping with friends because they can shop at junior’s stores and i can’t. at women’s stores, i’m still a size 10 but that’s like a normal size! that’s the worst part! i KNOW i’m not big, i am the size of a normal woman, but at 22 when my friends are slim and talk about how they forget to eat sometimes… it sucks. idk, just need to rant :(

Remember that everyone has a different body type. Your friends may be built naturally slim, while you carry weight in some areas, like chest, hips, or thighs. This is completely normal, and it's no reason to shame yourself. So long as you are healthy, you are doing fine.

It's crazy how self conscious we are of our bodies...I'm naturally thin and I hate it. I am so skinny and feel like people look at me like I have an eating disorder. Nothing looks good on me and I have ibs so trying to eat more to gain any type of weight makes me miserable and sick . Ugh I feel you

You are a unique individual. Learn to be happy with yourself regardless of size. I understand where you're coming from. Everyone is different. Be happy with yourself, just because you might be bigger than your friends don't mean anything. It's just you being you
