so, I've been in "recovery" from my last relapse in august of 2021. i feel myself falling back into the same habits and i really just need advice on how to avoid slipping back into this awful mentality. because once I'm there, I stay there, for an excruciating amount of time. how does everyone avoid going back into very disordered eating habits? no one around me gets it, and i can't reach out to anyone.

one thing i mainly do is listen to my body. your body will tell you everything you need to know if you listen closely enough. for me, my eating disorder would mentally block out all the signals my body was telling me. it’s really mind over matter. once i allowed to listen, i would act accordingly

well one thing i noticed is that you’re self aware that you might be slipping back into old habits which is good. many people only realize that when it’s too late
