Why am I so emotionally numb?

Let me start off by saying there's nothing wrong with you. Depression doesn't mean you are wrong in any way, just different. My best guess is your feeling depressed because i know i get numb when i'm depressed. Sometimes the brain is chemically inbalanced and needs a little help to get back to where it needs to be, whether that be through therapy or medication or even just some mental health time to recover. I'd bring it up lightly to someone you trust and see if you can get a professional opinion from a psychiatrist if that's possible. Again, i want to stress there isn't anything wrong with you, a lot of people get depressed and get confused about it and need a bit of help.
