Finding a Provider Familiar with EDS Diagnosis

I used Healthgrades and looked for younger doctors who do family medicine and manage chronic conditions. I also made a couple of email inquiries to offices to ask if doctors were willing to help me with chronic illness and had worked with rare diseases before. I got very honest responses and was able to find an AMAZING primary even in a place that isn’t known for having great medical resources. Family medicine doctors are also great because it means they want to be with patients for the long haul and you want someone in your corner for the journey.
