reaching out to see if anyone relates can you have gender dysphoria but not feel like the other gender i cant say I feel like a woman I don't even know what it is to feel like a woman even though I was born one, but I wouldn't say I want to be a man either I have quite moderate to severe lower dysphoria I've looked there maybe twice in my whole life and I have moderate upper dysphoria and bind every day its quite confusing so just wondered if it was a thing to have dysphoria but not transition.. thanks in advance 😊 xx

Hi! I'm genderqueer and I've experienced dysphoria my entire life. I remember being a very young kid and feeling like "not a boy or a girl" and having issues with my body. I have very similar issues. I don't plan on going on hormones, so I won't "transition" that way, but I feel like I still transitioned into my "new" self. I didn't see it as more masculine or more feminine, just figuring out what feels right. I know im not agender like you are, but if you wanna talk about stuff, my inbox is open! πŸ’•

Thanks both of you helped me feel a bit more normal, and not weird although I pride myself on being weird in some areas lol.. πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

I'm sort of similar. I've adopted gender-fluid bc sometimes I'm ok with my top and other (most) days I'm not. Most of the time I'm ok with my bottom but only if it's not referred to as "womanly" or "lady parts". It helped many times over to have a hysterectomy so I don't ever have to deal with bleeding on my more dysphoric days. Using medical terms (vuvla, vagnia, breasts) for the body part I received from birth and development helps tremendously for my dysphoria as well. I wasn't born a woman, but I was assigned female at birth. Making that distinction is important to me.

@anubisplane hey yeah that makes sense... I've had my periods stopped by zoladex inducrd chemical menopause as they were making me suicidal ultimately im pushing for a hysterectomy x

@indie9367 I was obsessively checking to see if I was pregnant (weekly, if not more often)....even when it was impossible. But I also had issues with excessive bleeding/cramping/pain, so I got one that way. It wasn't until a month after the surgery that I realized it helped my gender dysphoria. I was suidical during my pregnancy, so I didn't want it to happen again. Just know that you aren't alone. :) feel free to message me if you ever want to chat/vent or whatever!
