Metformin and Vaccines: Side Effects or Normal?

I was on one 500 mg metformin a day until I got my 2nd vaccine but then I had to take two to keep my numbers around 100 at the morning fasting reading and often it went up to 120. Is that a side effect or metformin?

I was on metformin for years and have recently changed to Trulicity injectable. I also have had three vaccinations. Not sure if that would effect your glucose increase but I wouldn’t rule it out.

  @Lauriely does the triplicity work well for you? I'm on metformin 1000 mg twice a day but I'm looking into other options.
