So there is a lot of trauma that I still don’t talk about. Is it personally helpful to talk about it? When is a good time? I have no idea 😞

Speaking from my experiences, I would advise you only to talk to people you trust deeply or a therapist. Talking to people who share similar traumatic experiences can also be extremely validating and helpful. I have made the mistake of, in a moment of panic, sharing my traumatic experiences with a person who turned out to be untrustworthy and hard for me to be around.

I found it personally helpful to tell my story when I needed to and felt comfortable doing so. I told my fiancé, but talking to any close person or therapist is nice. I would only recommend opening up when you feel comfortable doing so. Starting the conversation could start with a super simple statement like "There's something that has been bothering me lately"

There are some things that I have a hard time talking about with anyone, but I still need to vent, so I write it down in a journal. It helps me get it off my chest even though I'm not ready to talk about it just yet.

It’s really healthy to express what’s happening and has happened to you though. It’s part of how we heal trauma. We are herd animals, and it plays a role physiologically

Definitely would recommend talking to a therapist. If you talk to friends it helps but also make sure they are in the headspace to support you. You can do that by asking them if it’s okay to talk about it or asking them how their emotion energy is at the moment
