idk which category this would be under but I suppose anxiety? my nerves are shot at this point. I'm about to get evicted, and I cannot afford groceries. I feel awful like I'm a failure of a mother. šŸ˜ šŸ˜ I wish I had family or friends to help. the food pantry here gave apples, squash and oranges along with some nesquick milk. with 4 kids I couldn't make that stretch or even make meals with that šŸ˜ it's breaking my heart that I'm having to sell my grandma's ring to get food, but my babies need fed. I'm so depressed, I shouldn't have messed our life up. any suggestions?

What about calling around to churches in your area to see if they can give you a hand while your going thru this difficult time. Iā€™m not sure about your area but some of them run food pantryā€™s too. Some churches do not mind if your not a member and are very welcoming and helpful. If not, then Iā€™d certainly take to gofundme and ask for help. But you are not a failure your just having a hard time we all go thru it. Thereā€™s help out there you just gotta keep asking for it. If your kids are in school you should definitely speak to the schools to see if they have resources.

Also see if your community has emergency rent assistance available. Many do for just your circumstances.

@BraeburnGirl this county doesn't have anywhere that pays your rent. I've exhausted myself calling around and have even been told that it would be best if I moved to a different area since resources are scarce here

Thereā€™s probably other food pantries in your area, most communities have more than one. Have you tried for other programs like Womenā€™s Infants and Childrenā€™s assistance or Emergency Assistance?

@Tinks73 Indiana. We don't have a local council that I'm aware of. I'm kinda new to this state. Everything is different from my homestead.

Are you able to get food stamps or other help from the government for your situation? I'd recommend reaching out to any organizations near you that can help

@Eren2273 I applied but they told me they have 45 days to decide yes or no.
