I haven’t been formally diagnosed with a cerebral AVM yet, but I have been having seizures that are very spot on with the description of AVM related seizures. I’ve had them since I was 17 years old but they have gotten worse in the past year. I am 31. My maternal aunt was diagnosed with a Cerebral AVM right around my current age after she started experiencing seizures. My doctor doesn’t seem to be taking this into mind and has only ordered an EEG and has labelled these events as pseudoseizures despite witnesses confirming they are convulsive and I have lost consciousness. Should I urge her to order me an MRI? Are there any other symptoms I’ve written off that are noticeable in the early stages.
