Ii also have fm and degeratigve joint and spine disease (aka) osteoarthritis. I've had my knees replaced and a couple years ago it started being active on my spine and my neck has gotten a lot worse. I have days I can't hold my head up I'm only 54. It really sucks. I also have other severe internal issues. I pray for all of us who have to live in pain all the time to where it takes over out chances of actually living a life we caN enjoy. It keeps me from enjoying my Lmost q year old grandson. He men's everything to me and doesn't understand why I can't pick him up and carry him around anymore. I luvhim.so much
I know how that goes. My son is my world and I can't even visit him most of the time. He's right across the field, only 500 yards away. At 42, I should still be keeping up with him. Just enjoy what you can. Maybe ask your rheumatologist about pain blockers for your neck and head. It helps me.
