I'm very straight, but I whole heartedly support the LGBTQ+ community and have 2 cousins on of which has a wonderful partner( who are coming up for a week on the 27th I cant wait to see them). I just hope my other cousin finds someone special too she deserves it she also comes up for a week in the summer holidays my kids adore them! I have many friends within the community and are hands down the most kind, caring and most amazing people I've met! Long term goal is go on the pride March with with my friends. If it wasn't for their genuine love care and support in all honesty I'd probably not be here.

not gay but demisexual I think, though I donā€™t really feel valid in the lgbt+ community donā€™t wanna intrude on that Iā€™ll just support

@Igglepiggle The ace and aro spectrum is definitely apart of the queer community, being on the ace spectrum myself it has definitely been a bit of an isolating experience in hookup & sex culture. You are valid as hell. People will tell you that you're not gay enough or not oppressed enough but at the end of the day queerness has always been something that defied the norm - the reality is many ace & aro people including myself have stories about times where people acted as if we were weird or just told us to do something we didn't want to or anything relating to that. We don't get killed for it sure but we don't do things the way allos do and that for sure can be isolating. I definitely suggest you reach out to ace spectrum corners of the internet and you'll definitely see you are very valid in the community and there are many people to share your experiences with

@sillyashell thatā€™s really sweet thank you, I think itā€™s cuz Ive had a boyfriend since I was 16 so Iā€™ve not really had a chance to even feel out of place much except for growing up when girls talked about their crushes I never understood but yeah im quite happy being demisexual I think itā€™s cute, I donā€™t have sex dreams lol I dream of playing puzzles with my crushes family itā€™s wholesome I think :D
