NUMBER ONE THING IS BREATHE, it sounds cliche but it does help, number two is tell yourself that you’re safe and okay, and number three is splash cold water on your face. (These are the things that work for me)

my heart starts racing I either do
these 2 things. The first thing I do
is hug a friend or a family
member. The point of this is to
mimic their breathing pattern
when your heart is racing. Ask
them to take deep breaths so you
can do so. The second option to
try if no one is around is a deep
breathing technique. Try in for 4
and out for 6. Breathe in for 4
seconds and exhale for 6. Make
sure when you inhale you fill your
belly with air. Try not to suck in
your stomach. I hope this helps.
