I don't get comedy at all

me, even if it’s a dad joke i don’t get it until like minutes later I genuinely can’t tell what it’s about sometimes

YES! i’m there with you. i nearly cannot for the life of me understand most peoples jokes or find them actually funny. although, i did find a comedian on tiktok who is autistic and in my opinion he is hilarious. his name is rian d reyes if you wanted to check him out! not that this is helpful to your current situation!!! sorry!!!

I don't get stand up comedy, and there are certain kinds of comedy I just don't like. It's not that I don't understand the jokes, it's just that I don't find them funny. My sense of humor is just different.

Some stand up comedy I get along with memes, dad jokes, and inside jokes that I made between people. But if it's a joke I've never heard before I won't understand it unless someone explains why it's funny. I do act like I get a joke though even if I don't as I've been told it's weird I don't laugh at how funny this is. I mask pretty hard and now I'm trying to not mask so it's been a challenge trying to figure out what's funny about a joke.
