for those with pots. how many of you get bad palpitations even when you're sitting around doing nothing, with a normal heart rate? everyday seems to be different. there's been days where I'm having palpitations back to back for hours. or multiple times off and on throughout the day. other days I may have one or none. but I have a loop recorder in my chest and when I have spoke to my cardiologist about it, he doesn't see anything going on during the palpitations are happening. I'm hoping I'm not alone in this.

This happens to me at random times and even when I’m laying down! I don’t understand it either. Does anyone know why this happens?

Same here! I’ve had all kinds of cardiac monitors and felt them while wearing them but was always told that they never saw anything. Then when I was admitted at the Cleveland Clinic, they “FINALLY” caught them on the monitor. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I get them very randomly but also notice days where it’s more often than others. Usually my more symptomatic days I notice it more often. I had it happen a couple times while wearing a zio patch but the cardiologist said it wasn’t anything alarming. Also had a echocardiogram to rule out anything other issues just to be sure.

I do!! My palpitations don’t only happen when I stand. They can even happen when I roll over on my side while I’m lying down. And sometimes they come out of the blue. I have also worn a holter monitor during these events and they were classified as “normal” - in other words, the rate and intensity was high but at least there wasn’t any suspicious electrical activity like inverted t waves.
