Hi, Emmalee I'm so sorry you've been in pain for so long. I've lived through it and it's no fun. To be honest, I don't know how long you hurt after a cyst. More likely, you have some recurring cysts that are appearing and rupturing as your menstrual cycle goes on. If you aren't on any kind of hormones, ask your doctor about starting this kind of treatment to heal and manage cysts. As for doctors doubting you, that sucks SO much. But I get you on this too. I had to cry in front of my doctor's office to get the treatment I needed. I'm not sure what advice to give you, but I hope you can get the care you need. If you don't like your treatment somewhere, you can always go somewhere else.
