This usually happens to me when Iโm triggered. Journaling and cognitive therapy has helped me a lot over the years. PTSD is the devil and you never know when itโs going to creep up. But thereโs different tools to help minimize as well as calm the triggers and flashbacks ๐ค
Yep. Anymore I do my best to tell my mind "I'm going to ignore this suffering and focus on something I CHOOSE instead". It usually speeds up the process of getting out of that feeling, though it doesn't totally prevent it from happening.
