Sometimes I think autistic people are nicer in a way I can relate to more. There isnt cringe behavior because there isn't social rules. It's easier to accept people. its easier to be honest even when its blunt.

It’s definitely easier because you don’t have to wonder if they mean something else. I think the only issue, and I don’t think this is just an autistic thing, but sometimes people don’t want to hurt another’s feelings or make them uncomfortable. So they won’t talk about what they want to talk about.

I feel a sense of familiarity and no need to mask with other autistic people and it’s very freeing, but I’ve also had a couple of negative experiences with sensory overload with the inevitable excited conversations that may ensue haha

Yes! It also helps to accept that cringe culture is dead. I'm just now accepting it. But I mean, I'm a grown adult on tumblr. I'm a poster child for cringe culture. But it's dead now so who cares!

I definitely feel this. There’s no pressure to be something or someone that you’re not
