Well one thing to note is that ADHD is the disorder with the most comorbidities(doctor speak for having more than one condition) of any other disorder. I personally have several comorbidities, including both bipolar and ADHD. Obviously, you would want to discuss this with a medical professional, but there is a chance you are dealing with both. The other thing to note is that bipolar most often does not become as apparent/or active until adolescence or 20's. For me personally I was first diagnosed with ADHD then later with bipolar. Another thing to consider is that often some symptoms that would appear like ADHD may be stemming from bipolar/depression ie distraction, inability to focus, difficultly processing information etc. It can be very complex so you should discuss all possibilities with a professional.
