Does this happen to anyone else? I experience a time of pure joy and fun hanging out with friends, and then the next few days I come crashing down and my depression hits HARD.

I get a lot of mental fatigue from even positive socializing

Yes, even if I am having fun and am around people I am completely comfortable with, socializing is still absolutley. Exhausting. Does it feel like fatigue, an emotional swing, or both?

@Mop Some fatigue, but mainly just emotional and feeling low.

Yes this happens almost every time. And I'm hanging out with friends today š¬
Consider asking about bipolar 1 & 2 at your next Dr visit. These things might be that, or just pure mental fatigue from "peopling".

It happens to me a lot
I do. I think the mental exhaustion of being around people drains me. Not that I don't enjoy my friends or family but...it's just draining
Do you have issues with being around people all the time? I'm just curious...
@TyeDarkSoul I definitely need to recharge after big social events.
Yes, every time
Yup that's me
