I understand this completely!!! My therapist told me it’s because I’ve been “trained” to think this way because of someone in my life (who also happens to be my mom). It’s a harsh reality when someone who’s supposed to love you unconditionally makes you feel this way, but it’s important to remember that it’s not true, despite what you may believe. If you want to talk more, feel free to reach out! Sending my love and good vibes <3

Nearly every day. Trying to work through it with my therapist but it's definitely a struggle.

All the time. And it's not all your fault, but people have made you feel like that, so it's not even your fault you feel like that. In fact, it's all their fault! Literally. You need to get rid of the people in your life that are making you feel like that if you haven't already. Those people don't deserve you.

@LittleCholita dang I'm so sorry to hear. Honestly, and this is hard to say, it's ok not to be close to her if you choose not to. I've had to cut family out and it's hard because your other family members don't understand, but then I just kinda cut them out too ha. I just keep my distance and make up excuses not to go to family gatherings. Sometimes your real family isn't blood related. You have to do everything you can to distance yourself, even if you're dependent on her or she's dependant on you, for your own life. I'm so sorry that is happening to you.
