@unicorn It would make more sense of being a pinched nerve if it was just my hand. i feel it in part of my lip and part of the palm of my hand
Please call 911 so that way you can get help fast just in case it's something bad, since you're an adult you have full control over letting them treat you, you're parents and you're other doctors have no say in anything.
Is it possibly a pinched nerve or something? I know occasionally I feel tingling/numbness/cold sensation in part of my hand, and it’s usually due to a pinched nerve because my spine is misaligned. I visit a chiropractor relatively regularly for several different reasons, and it usually feels better after an adjustment.
I know with anxiety it's easy to hyper fixated on one terrible thing that someone says that it could be. I've lived with pretty severe anxiety my whole life. What's really important know is to focus on documenting when you experience these symptoms and then discuss this with your doctor. Don't take whatever someone else says it could be to heart. Don't look up your symptoms because we know how bad those deep dives on webMD can be. Make an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can and in the meantime keep track of when these things happen.
@gurspaceport i’ve been telling her about it for a really long time and she tries to blame it on anxiety the past doctor tried to blame it on being anemic. no one seems to care and she kind of just thinks i’m crazy. she referred me for an mri but i’m only 22 and need my parents help paying for it and idk if they will. i’ve had weird symptoms since feb because of an incident no one is sure what it is. i’ve just had multiple people now tell me they had this before a TIA and because stroke is my biggest fear and the cause of my panic attacks and why i don’t go out much now i’m scared
@xtaylorx I started having episodes last fall. And people were telling me it was everything from strokes to brain cancer. And it was neither. If you could get a second opinion, I would. I know it's easy to get scared, but your anxiety increasing could make it worse. Our mind and body are connected in ways we don't I understand.
