How do you deal with the perpetual fear that you did/are going to do something wrong? It is so hard for me to let the fear go, and when I do make a mistake, I am SO mean to myself.

This is usually what breaks me. I cry, and I'm so mad at myself. I'm fortunate to have a partner who lets me cry it all out on them. But before, I didn't know how to handle it, so I didn't. I just cried when it became too much. I found that keeping a journal helps. My therapist has offered ideas of reminding myself that bad days happen; I'm still a good partner, mom, friend, etc. Even when I make mistakes. Allow myself some grace, because I still love my kids and partner even when they make mistakes, why do I not allow myself that same love?
