I'm currently in a stage where im so anxious I can't eat, even if I try to. I live with a very controlling father who doesn't understand and tries to force food down my face, which is making my anxiety about eating worse. I can sometimes eat small amounts when distracting myself from my anxiety, but not for long. Is there any tips on how to explain my eating issue with my father? Also is there any tips and tricks on how to help me eat SOMETHING so I don't loose a ton of weight?

@Pem that's a smart idea thinking of it like a treat, I'll definitely try that, thank you a bunch

Oh and tums! It sounds weird. But antacids have always helped me with the stomach issues my anxiety causes.

If you can, snag some boost plus drinks, they have a solid amount of calories and if you tell yourself it's a treat, a milkshake, it might help. That's what I do. And keeping saltine crackers, salt helps with nausea and you can munch on those to help stimulate your appetite. I don't know how to help with your father. I have never been able to connect or explain things to my parents. I wish I had better advice. I'm here for you

@XDxRawrxDX of course, eating is so important and can be so hard. I'm proud of you for reaching out šŸ–¤
