When my sciatica flares theres a couple stretches I do to try and get the nerve un pinched for the time being, I'll also take a muscle relaxer if it's really bad as mine is caused by the periformus muscle being overworked and inflamed. One of the stretches I do is lay flat on my back either on the bed or the floor with my arms out to the sides, I'll bring my left leg (my sciatica is on my left side) over toward my right side and stretch out that hip as much as I can without too much pain. I've also learned a lot of weird random stretches that seem to help.

Does it ever happen when your in mid step and you literally feel like you can't move at all from the pain. When it shoots through your legs , that's Def the worst. I'm so so sorry.

I just have to lay in bed and not move. The flare ups happen without warning and the pain is so bad I feel like I'm going to die sometimes. The spasms are the worst. I'm so sorry. I wish I had suggestions, but I'm right there with you!

@BusyB I hate how it spreads all through the lower extremitiesđŸ„ș
