I recently, like 4 weeks and a few days ago had SI joint fusion surgery performed. The deep bone pain is nearly gone although it has its moments, but the muscles and I guess ligaments still hurt. also having some intense sciatic nerve pain off and on? is that normal, and for how long?

It's getting closer to being a year since surgery and everything has improved so much. Super glad I did it.

      Has anyone tried a chiropractor?

They offered me this surgery. Said it might be uncomfortable. I have an allergy to pain meds. Uncomfortable I don't think would cover it.

Thanks Sam. I was thinking about that surgery but am hesitant. I would be interested in you progress with pain relief. I hope you are finding relief.
